Mrs. S.P. Eyelids + face peel I had never considered cosmetic surgery or even realised that you could have it done around your eyes until I watched a programme called “10 years younger”. At the end of the show, having shown someone have upper and lower eyelids done, they gave out a website address. At the time it was more out of curiosity that I took things further and actually made an appointment, originally to see someone in London, to have the procedure done in Belgium. After the initial consultation I came away feeling not overly confident and quite apprehensive about taking things any further. Something didn’t feel quite right. When I got home I went back on the internet and found a website for cosmetic surgery abroad where I could request quotes for surgery from three different countries. I chose Belgium, Spain and Greece. When the replies came back I looked at the middle price which happened to be in Barcelona. They offered an all inclusive price with pick up and return to the airport and free consultation in London. I had to pay separately for flights and my first night in a hotel. After a lot of thought I decided to book a consultation and found myself back in London. This time the experience was completely different. I arrived at the Harley Street clinic, which was a proper clinic, not just a rented room and I was met by Dr Benito. He explained clearly what the operation involved, the risks and the benefits. He also showed me before and after pictures and also took photos of my eyes while I was there. At no time was there any pressure to go ahead with the procedure and I was advised to contact his patient co-ordinator, Aida, should I wish to proceed. I came away from that consultation with a clear picture of what results could be achieved and I felt comfortable with the information he had given me. As I would be travelling alone, the idea that someone would meet me at Barcelona airport was reassuring. After a couple of days of careful thought I decided to contact Aida who arranged a mutually convenient date for myself to fly out there for surgery. I made arrangements to take the fees with me and was not asked for any money as a deposit. Aida also made the hotel reservation for me. I flew out to Barcelona and was met by their driver who took me to the hotel. I received a phone call from Aida to arrange to meet her in the hotel reception the following morning so that she could take me to the clinic which was across the road. After the admission procedure I was taken to my room and nurses came and went, carrying out the pre-op checks. I saw Dr Benito before surgery and again when I was taken to the theatre. After the surgery, the nursing care was excellent. I had also had a facial peel done and they were putting cream on my face at intervals throughout the nights that I was there. I saw Dr Benito every day and on my day of discharge he called in with the relevant creams I needed and also a letter for the airline explaining what I had been through (should they ask). I waited in the hospital reception for the driver to pick me up and take me back to Barcelona airport. I have to say that the whole experience for me was an excellent one, and having seen the results and looked at the before and after pictures I really wish that I had found out about it years ago. I don’t think it is something that should be entered into lightly and you really do have to get as much information as possible, but I can honestly say I enjoyed my time in Barcelona and I would certainly recommend Dr Benito and his team any time!

Mr. J.B. Midface lift Dear Dr Jesus Benito, Aida (Patients Coordinator) and all your staff.
It has been about 6 months since my surgery with Dr Jesus Benito in Barcelona and I have to tell all that was involved with my surgery and those of you who are reading this contemplating some form of surgery to enhance your appearance, that it was worth every last penny.
The waiting and the anticipation of the final results over the past few months has not only made me look younger and made me look happier, but it has also allowed me to stop being so conscious about my looks whilst out socialising.
As with most people several factors contribute to ones confidence, my lack of confidence was coming from my looks and there was no option but to commit to having surgery in order to improve them. The only choice that I had to make was with whom to allow and trust to perform such a skilled operation that would change my life forever..
I had done much questioning with people who had had surgery and searching on the internet to find the right surgeon. I had already managed to narrow down the search considerably by deciding to have my surgery done abroad, because the price of surgery is cheaper by some 30% - 50%.
Naturally, the final choice would be mine, so I had selected a few surgeons that I had found on the internet and started to arrange appointments, all were based in Harley Street, London. To my disappointment, I was either greeted by ill mannered surgeons that did not have a bedside manner as one would expect or they gave a response that they were unable to do the operation that I was after. I was just about to give up all hope, thinking maybe this is not meant to be, when my last appointment was due, (yes you have guessed) with Dr Jesus Benito, arranged by his friendly and efficient Patient Coordinator (Aida).
From the moment that I stepped into Dr Benito’s office in Harley Street, my life changing experience had started. The beautifully decorated building with equally matched with soft furnishings and the attention to detail, gave me an inclination to the type of person that I was about to meet. Only waiting for a few minutes in such comfortable surroundings I was greeted by Dr Benito himself and shown to his consultation room, unlike the other consultations where I had to make my own way through a labyrinth of corridors and stairs and ask several times am I going in the right direction.
Already feeling relaxed, Dr Benito increased this by his calm and gentle mannerism, this allowed me to think clearly with regards to the questions that I needed to ask him, for me to be able to consider having the surgery that I wanted. Dr Benito was very upfront and answered my questions without hesitation, confirming that he was an honest surgeon. Dr Benito did not try to inject his opinion as to what he felt I needed done, he asked me what it was that I wanted to change about my appearance, which impressed me. After an unhurried consultation (which is not what you expect considering it was free), feeling more than happy I asked for the cost of the surgery, the price quoted included everything (except flights) surprised me tremendously as it was £0000’s cheaper than having it done here in London. With all of my questions answered and Dr Benito able to perform the surgery that I wanted, I gave the go ahead.
The following day I phoned Barcelona and spoke to Aida (patients coordinator), to set a date for surgery, amazingly I only had to wait 6 weeks. This gave me enough time to prepare myself emotionally for something I had been wanting to have done for some 15 years.. Aida had kept in close contact with me throughout this period, answering new questions that were developing as time drew closer, naturally expected, most of all giving me great support and encouragement. By the time I had arrived in Barcelona, I had felt that I made a friend through our weeks of contact by phone, which is a great comfort, trust me, because I was becoming increasingly anxious, yet excited at the same time.
Before we knew it, we were in Barcelona, being chauffeur driven to our hotel, courtesy of Dr Benito. The following day I met Aida at the hospital for my pre-operation tests, as expected I was greeted with a big smile and at last a face to put to the reassuring voice of the past few weeks. The tests were quick and I was soon on my way to see a little bit of Barcelona before the surgery. I urge all that go to Barcelona for surgery to go a few days before your operation to see the city, it is beautiful.
The good thing is that if you go with a friend or partner, they are also allowed to stay with you in your private suite for the duration of your admission (yes for free), this is a comfort and much needed both pre and post op, mainly for support and someone to talk to.
On the day of my surgery, I was taken to my suite, shown around and had the procedure of events explained to me by one of the nurses, so I knew what to expect. Within an hour Dr Benito was there in my suite, asking how I felt and explained the surgery to both myself and my partner and reassured me as I was obviously showing signs of anxiety.
Just some 4 hours later after my anaesthetic, I was back in my room, surgery successful, partner by my side and nurses doing their thing. The recovery was made much easier than I had anticipated, the attention to keeping me pain free was great, even for the weeks to follow when I had returned to London. I was able to recuperate comfortably and the staff were always happy and very considerate and respectful every time they attended to my needs. I have to say that the food and service made it a 5 star stay.
Within 3 days of having my surgery I was flying back home to London, pain free and happy.. Within 2 weeks I was back at work receiving compliments from my fellow colleagues and friends.
It only took a couple of weeks for the bruising and noticeable swelling to go and the staples were taken out by Dr Benito, as he flies to London every 2 weeks for consultations and will meet with you on a couple of occasions after your initial follow up consultation to make sure all is well and that you are happy with the result of your surgery..
On my last meeting both Dr Benito and myself were more than pleased with the results and the speed in which I had recovered, the best thing of all is that you really can’t see any scaring as all the incisions were done in my hair line and even with parting my hair, the scars are just not visible.
A few months later all the swelling has now gone and the final result can be seen, I tell you I am more than happy, I am a new me, a more confident me and most of all a happy me.
I know in the future, that I would not hesitate to have further surgery with Dr Benito and most definitely recommend him to anyone that asks for a cosmetic surgeon of repute.
Thank you so very much to Dr Benito, Aida and all the staff that were involved in my surgery and post operative care.
GOD BLESS YOU ALL |

Liposuction + tummy tuck I am Jackie and I'm and 30 years old. O.K. before any surgery I was tattooed on both arms at the top. I may have pictures, I certainly have a picture of me with the largest tattoo on my left arm, yuck!, both tattoos were eventually removed in Cambridge England July 04, leaving both arms scared, one of which, on the left arm, was horribly large and dished in shape, this scar has been treated by way of a skin graft by Dr. Benito in my last procedure carried out on 10th November 06. In this procedure on the 10th I under went Liposuction of the flanks, upper abdomen, face( a very small amount as Dr. Benito wanted to air on the side of caution) , plus a slight amount of revision lipo on my inner thigh, upper back and the back of my arms, I also had a Tummy tuck. I am only a week or so into recovery. I feel good and positive about the results ( obviously I am swollen at the moment) If my last Liposuction procedure, is anything to go by the swelling will subside quite significantly in the next 6 weeks and the results can only improve. During the last procedure, to which I refer to above, performed in April 06 also by Dr Benito in Barcelona, I had 5 litters of fat removed from my upper and lower back, my inner and outer thighs, my upper arms and my chin. I have also had a breast enlargement done ( my first procedure, done in around late 03) This was done in my home town of Bury St Edmunds and was also successful. My stats have gone from 5' 3" and 11.1 stone dress size 14 to 16, at the worst, to obviously still 5'3", but I now, with swelling, weigh 10 stone and am a dress size 12 and shrinking. I have gone from bra size 36 B cup to 34 DD/E cup, my tummy is on it's way to being flat and I feel much more confident.

Liposuction of the abdomen Before going ahead with surgery I fully researched my options, many of the clinics in the UK were very expensive and this is why I decided to look abroad, I would not had traveled abroad if I was not 100% confident in my Doctor. The treatment I have received from Dr Benito has been first class, he promptly replied to my e-mail on a sunday afternoon and gave me relevant information.I was able to arrange a consultation for a few weeks later in london. Dr Benito was very friendly and he explained the procedure and the results he hoped for, I was also given possible surgery dates and was told the costs which included my stay for two nights plus one guest. Once I decided to go ahead I was fully supported by Aida (Patient Coordinator) who was there every step of the way to help with hotels and any advice I needed ..Aida contacted me regularly by e-mail and telephone, she called the evening before my surgery to reassure me and advise of pre- surgery procedure. The Clinic was very clean in a pleasant area of barcelona, aida met me and explained the procedure for the day, although the staff were all spanish this was not a problem as Aida was with me throughout the consultation. Before surgery Dr Benito came and spoke to me and it was only at this point I paid for my surgery. Following surgery I was never in pain, I just felt a bit uncomfortable. I stayed one night in the clinic where the staff were very helpful. The following morning Dr Benito said I could go to a Hotel for my second night if I wanted, as I had finished all my treatment and was well enough to leave. My daughter and I spent a lovely twenty four hours in a top five star hotel. Since returning home I have followed Dr Benito post Surgery advice and attended my post op visits to Dr Benito in Harley Street. I am very pleased with the results of my liposuction and I am now a proud owner of a very flat stomach. The surgery and my experiences in Barcelona have been above and beyond my expectation, I would definitely recommend Dr Benito and his team.

Ms. L.A. Breast augmentation I arrived with a friend at Dr.Benito's office at 7pm for my consultation as I had opted to travel from Kent and have surgery the next day. He was very welcoming and answered all of my questions and put me at ease. I was told to arrive at the hospital the next day at 830am for blood tests etc. I was understandably nervous (to say the least) but my whole life had been taken over by the fact that I was not happy with my breat size. I went from a 34a to a supposedly 34 large B but I am still buying C and D cups in England so that's fantastic! I can honestly say that I do not have any issues with my breasts and in fact, I get a lot of compliments on how 'real' they look. I did years of research and I do not believe any other surgeon can make them look so natural. Just check Dr Benito's profile as he really is an expert in his field. I am so happy with the procedure I'm actually saving up now for liposuction so anyone reading this that's wondering who to choose- go with Dr Benito and pay that little bit more as it's your body after all "Quality is remembered long after price is forgotten" - Aldo Gucci

Breast reduction and liposuction of the abdomen All the staff are extremely pleasent and really try hard to speak with you , It is hard to communicate but i had quite a laugh with them all !! The room is very basic and quite small but more than enough for the time you spend there , My husband stayed on a pull out bed with me which really i was glad about as it would have been a bit lonely on my own as i am a tv addict and even though a tv is provided it is spanish , All this doesnt really matter though as i was so impressed with my care and my surgery and the fact that as long as you are ok you are free to wander there is a superb cafe on site and seating outside if you fancy a bit of fresh air. Dr benito is brilliant and his work is excellent i noticed that he takes great care of everything he does all the dressings and when he arranges to come and see you he keeps his word . My only advise is try to learn a little spanish and expect basic accomodation but i must also stress that ---- it really is all worth it --- and most of all dr benito is a very honest , professional man who can be trusted . Hope this helps and good luck with your surgery and i hope you are as happy as i am. Yours faithfully

Mrs. J.M. Breast augmentation Firstly I would like to say that I am extremely happy with the results of my operation. It has made a huge difference to me – to be able to go shopping and not have to discount 80% of tops as being “no good without assets” is a real buzz. I was quite fortunate – a friend also wanted the operation so the two of us have been through the whole thing together. We both said that we would not have wanted to do it on our own – getting off the plane at Barcelona was quite scary but we were able to support each other. If you can get someone to go with you then do. We were met at the airport and taken to the hospital – all very efficient. When we got to the hospital we had quite a long wait – this was a little bit difficult – we really wished that we could speak some Spanish. The hospital was very busy and we were not able to get to our rooms straight away. When we got to the room everything happened very quickly. Blood test, heart check etc. All the staff were extremely friendly – a few could speak relatively good English but even those that couldn’t always had a smile on their face. The room itself was clean and tidy – not luxurious but perfectly fine. At this point we were both a little nervous – myself more than my friend but as soon as Dr Benito came to see us he was happy and confident and it just passed over to us. I took the easy option and had a “happy pill” before the operation – my friend went down to theatre first. Once down at theatre most of the staff spoke excellent English and they were all very friendly and filled me with confidence. I can not fault the staff at the hospital at all – they were all excellent. The next thing I remember is coming round. I was attached to a drip and had drains in. The night after the operation you get lots of pain killers and anti-biotics all via the drip. The following day once Dr Benito has been to see you and you have had the drip out, you will be encouraged to get out of bed and walk about a bit. This is a bit tough – you will suddenly notice the bruising a bit – sitting up is a challenge. Once you are up you will be ok – not ready to run a marathon but feeling pretty good. This day will drag a little bit – the tv hasn’t any English channels – take a good book with you. Later in the day, Dr Benito come and remove the bandages and you will get the first site of the change – you will be pleased I am sure. We found the second night quite tough – you are drained but not tired and it can be difficult to get comfortable. We were very ready to go home the following morning. You will find that your breasts feel very solid to start off with but they do soften up The trip back to the airport was interesting – the suspension in the taxi was not the best and you will find yourself holding onto your new assets to stop them from hurting! Make sure you only take a small bag with you – don’t bother with a suitcase – you won’t need a full wardrobe while you are in hospital and you won’t want to carry anything heavy. Also choose a top that you can get on quite easily – it is a bit difficult getting your arms above your head for a day or two – although you must do this as an exercise everyday to get your mobility back. I am now just nearing a month after the operation and can not wait to get the sports bra off and get into something more flattering. This and sleeping on your back are definitely the worst things about the operation – but well worth it! The other tricky thing is to resist spending a fortune in London on the follow-up visits! The scars under the arm are healing really well – you can hardly notice them already. There will be some bruising for a week or two and some loss of sensation – in my case the loss of sensation is under the arm and not on the breast itself. If anything, my breasts are now more sensitive to touch which is an added bonus. I would recommend getting some elastoplast scar reduction patches – these are expensive but do seem to keep the redness down and also stop so much scar tissue forming underneath – makes the massaging process much easier.

Mrs. A.B. Buttock augmentation
Hello, my name is Antonia and I live in England.
I found Dr Benito on the internet and was able
to research the services offered by him on his web site, after sending him
an e-mail
I was please with his comprehensive response and
good command of English.
It proved no problem to discuss my requiremnets
and his suggestions by e-mail.
After visiting Dr Benito in Barcelona I was
impressed with his kind, knowledgable and caring nature, a few months later
I attended
one of the best hospitals in Barcelona for the
procedure. The result was fantastic and I was treated very well indeed
throuhout my stay.
Dr Benito paid full attention to my needs both
before and after the operation.
Dr Benito, his staff and facilities I found were
as good and indeed better than those i have used in England. I personally
recommend
Dr Benito to you all.

Mrs. L.W. Abdominoplasty I, L.W. (Miss) hear by highly recommend the services of Dr Jesus Benito Ruiz at Cirugia Plastica y Estetica, Barcelona. I had a tummy tuck on January 10th 2003 at the Centro Medical Delfos in Barcelona and would not hesitate to recommend to anyone this procedure to be carried out by the above mentioned Doctor Benito Ruiz. I feel like a new woman, I have a new lease of life and feel so happy with the results. I would be more than happy to confirm this verbally to any potential patient.

Mrs. J.B. Breast reduction
My whole experience having surgery by Dr. Benito
was very professional from beginning to end. I was well cared for by
everybody involved. The language differences were not a problem. It was not
difficult to make myself understood to those who did not speak English, with
my trusty phrase book and sign language.
After my initial consultation with Dr. Benito I
felt confident in his abilities, as everything was thoroughly explained
including possible problems and I was shown before and after pictures of
previous patients.
My surgery went well I was followed up in the
UK. I was able to contact Dr. Benito by email if I had any concerns during
my recovery, which was very reassuring.
I am delighted with the results, it is the best
thing I ever did. If I ever wanted more surgery I would not hesitate to
contact Dr. Benito again, he would be my first choice.

Mrs. L.J. Full face lift
When I was first looking to have some
cosmetic surgery, I searched the internet for UK based Doctors and went
to see 2 or 3. However, their approach and bedside manner left a lot to
be desired. Either they made me uncomfortable and embarrassed, or they
were just in it for the money and I felt there was no compassion to how
I felt about myself.
One of the nurses of the english doctors,
said her friend had gone to Brazil, so I started looking on the internet
at doctors abroad, when I came across Dr Benito in Barcelona. I was
sent e-mail addresses of two women who had used him and went from there.
"Barcelona is near enough to travel back to, if need be, I thought".
When I went to Harley Street to meet Mr
Benito, I felt instantly that I would be safe in his hands and his whole
approach to my needs was perfect.
Although, the hospital staff in Barcelona spoke
limited English, a lovely Spanish girl was given to me, to act as
translator and is and has always kept in touch. The food like any
hospital left a lot to be desired, but I couldn't eat much anyway, as I
had stiches in my mouth.
Every process was explained to me and never
at any time was I allowed to be uncomfortable or in pain. My surgery
was quite extensive and although some things cannot be corrected (smile
lines) all in all I have been pleased with the results. The follow up
appointments, to have stitches removed etc, have been fitted in so that,
some were done when I was in Barcelona and some when I came back and
either Dr Benito or his assistant Marissa took them out.
I stayed in the hospital with a friend for 5
days (all included in the price), and then we stayed in a nearby hotel
for 5 further days. Some people come home, but I had not told my family
so wanted most of the bruising to go before I went home. Transport to
and from the airport was provided (again in the price), which I was
thankful for.
One of Dr Benitos team organised a
choice of hotels and transport, although I arranged my own flight.
Although we never met, the lady came to the hotel to say hello, with
a small box of chocolates to wish me well and to see if I was happy
with the hotel etc., unfortunately I did not feel up to seeing
anyone that day, but everyone was so thoughtful and kind.
My only disappointment of the whole procedure was the fact that the Aquamid filler did not do what I had hoped.
Many people have asked me and commented on
how well I look, some have guessed, others happy that I just say I had
my eyes done and changed my hairstyle!
It is not a matter of cost, but with whom
you feel confident and yes I could have had it done a lot cheaper in
some other European Country, but I knew instantly I met Dr Benito and
his team that I would be happy in their care.

Mrs. K.F. Blepharoplasty (eyelids)
Having been
concerned about my droopy eyes I looked into the procedure of having a
Blepharoplasty. Dr Benito was recommended to me and I met him at his
Harley Street Clinic, where he explained the procedure fully. The
surgery was to take place in Barcelona and was carried out in March
2006.

Mrs. P.D. Face lift + eyelids
Consultation: Very informative
and at no time did I feel any hard sell.
Operation: Although I was very nervous Dr Benito put me totally at ease and everything went well. Aftercare: The aftercare was excellent in fact I had a friend who went elsewhere for her facelift and the difference was amazing she was very much abandoned as soon as it was over. I am extremely happy with my face lift and would have no hesitation in recommending Dr Benito.

Mrs. A.R. Tummy tuck
My decision to undergo
abdominal surgery - a tummy tuck - was because after 2 caesarian
operations, I was left with scarring and a flap of skin and fat that no
amount of diet or exercise could remove. I really disliked my body and
made up my mind for this very radical treatment. My operation took place
in Spain. I thought I had prepared myself for the pain post operation
but I had no idea how

technique) My experiences with Dr Benito and his team were very positive. I was not entirely sure about the procedure I wanted but he managed to answer all my questions and I felt like I made the right choice. I receieved good after care and check ups for up to a year and have been very pleased with the results of my surgery. I would highly recommend Dr Benito and his clinic.

I was very
pleased with the service I had from Dr Benito. It was very easy
being able to meet and discuss all the possibilities of various
procedures in London, and then fly out to Barcelona for the
operation. I would suggest taking dark glasses and a scarf for
the trip home though, as I did have a lot of bruising after the
operation. However the after care was excellent as Dr Benito saw
me several more times in London, and was extremely helpful. A
year later I am very happy with the results and am pleased that
I did this. |

| Mrs. A.B.
Rhinoplasty In July 2006 I underwent open rhinoplasty to completely reshape the cartilage of my nose and a chin reduction, which was done by accessing the bone and burring from the inside.
I had several consultations with overseas and UK practitioners, all of whom said it would be a fairly complicated procedure and that I should not expect perfection. I was obviously interested in the overseas options because of the competitive pricing but competence and care is equally important. I selected Dr Benito because he gave me confidence in his abilities and he offered aftercare appointments in the UK, many surgeons who work overseas do not do any follow these. With my op being a complicated one I felt aftercare appointments were vital. I had also found it difficult to find people in the UK who would do the nose and chin, and those that would wanted to break my jaw in the middle and push it back. I felt that the burring was a less traumatic and obviously I am not a surgeon but the pre op x-rays did show there was a piece of bone that jutted out and burring looked a like logical solution!
I was admitted to hospital on the Thursday. The hospital was clean, I had my own room and my partner could also stay there overnight which was great. My surgery took place later in the afternoon.
After the surgery I felt a lot more uncomfortable that I thought I would, the first night was particularly bad. I saw Dr Benito in the morning and he said the operation had been more difficult and took longer than expected. I had packs in my nose for a day and couldn't really breathe through my nose for a week until the splint was taken off. My throat was so sore for a long time and I didn’t really feel normal for 2 to 3 weeks. Close family said I didn’t look normal for at least a month.
I had the splint and stiches removed a week after the operation. I was pleased that the nose was more “normal” but was not as happy as I had hoped. It was still quite big and there was a dent in it and some un even shape. However I had been told that it would take a long time for the swelling to go down and that I had to be patient. My chin had also reduced but needed time for the swelling to go down. Being patient and allowing time for the skin was quite difficult and I did get quite obsessed looking for slight changes!
By December the skin on my nose had shrunk dramatically and it was looking a lot better, close family who don’t see me every day commented on how it had improved. However, the dent was still there and the skin was a little uneven, so in January DR Benito released the dent and also tried a filler as a temporary measure to fix the unevenness. This did improve it slightly but after talking ti through with Dr Benito I decided to return to Barcelona to see if more surgery would help. The proposal was to put some tissue underneath the skin on my nose and perhaps to raise the comella a bit if possible. I took a while to decide whether to go ahead as I am pleased with improvement to my nose and was not sure I wanted to go through surgery again, however I felt that I may regret it in the future if I didn’t go ahead. The surgery is due to take place in May.
The swelling has also gone down on my chin, I have lost some sensitivity in one side , this was quite marked at first but has improved. I don’t think the reduction has made as much difference as I expected, however I have not taken a profile photo recently and compared before and after. I am still am please I had the chin done at the same time as I may have regretted it later and have gone back to have it done anyway. At the time my thinking was “in for a penny in for a pound”!
Overall I am happy I went ahead with the first operation, my nose is better than it was and I don’t feel so self-conscious about it. I am disappointed that I didn’t immediately think “wow” and that the process has been a lot more gradual. A friend of mine had a hump removed and the difference is striking immediately. However, I was always told my nose would be a tricky one to do, that it wouldn’t be perfect, and I am not surprised I am one of the few people for whom revision is a good idea. I do think that some people go back and have revisions because they strive for perfection, I don’t think I am doing that, for me it has always been about ending up with a nose that is “normal”. Hopefully the operation in May will help with that.
I have been happy with the care I have received from Dr Benito, my impression from other people who have surgery is that it can be a bit of a conveyor belt, particularly when going overseas. I have always felt that Dr Benito regards it as a long-term process and that the job isn’t done until he thinks it is.
After my second follow up with Dr Benmito
.
He is very happy with the healing and shape of the structure. He
is not entirely happy with how the skin is shrinking, I also
have an odd dent where a small amount of skin is sticking to the
mucosa (sp?). So, he will re-assess after 6 months, and then we
will probably plan for me to return to Barcelona for an out-
patient appointment to put some collagen (?) between my skin and
the mucosa (this will be free apart from the flight). This will
fix the dent and smooth the un-evenness. I may also have the
comella shortened but that depends on how it looks in December
as it will shrink a bit more before then.
